Privacy Policy

CueReady AI is an educational and entertainment tool. It does not guarantee employment outcomes. It is not for emergency use.

1. DATA WE COLLECT
- About Me, optional text you provide
- Resume, optional file upload per plan
- Job Description, optional file upload per plan
- Personal facts and Interview Story Bank entries you choose to provide
- Saved transcripts, per plan storage limits
- Anonymized answer hashes stored locally to prevent duplicate answers
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics, aggregated and not linked to you
- Optional support diagnostics if you choose to include them with a support request. These include plan, device, app version, usage counters, and feature status. They do not include resume text, job description text, transcripts, or draft support messages.

2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
Location, Contacts, Photos, Health data, or Payment information. Payments are handled by Apple or Google only.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
To generate personalized AI answers via OpenAI's API or a secure backend connected to OpenAI. Your inputs may be securely processed by OpenAI in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or employers.

4. SECURITY
Your data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256. No end-to-end encryption. No custom cryptography. This app only uses Apple-approved cryptography and complies with U.S. export laws.

5. DATA RETENTION
Data is retained until you delete it or your plan storage cap is reached. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

6. DATA PORTABILITY
Exports are provided as plain text (.txt) files via in-app Support.

7. BREACH NOTIFICATION
EU/UK users will be notified within 72 hours of a confirmed breach. Outside the EU/UK, users will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable under applicable law.

8. CHILD PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. We comply with COPPA and do not collect data from children under 13 in the U.S.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
CueReady AI uses OpenAI's API for answer generation. Inputs may be processed by OpenAI. Their privacy policy applies to that processing.

10. BACKUPS
No developer backups are maintained. All data is stored locally on your device per your plan. iCloud is not used for storage.

11. COMMUNICATIONS
We do not send marketing emails. Support communications are handled through in-app Support or maeserbern@gmail.com.

12. DATA RESIDENCY
Data is stored and processed in the United States. Cross-border transfer consent is required for non-U.S. users.

13. YOUR RIGHTS
You may request deletion, export, or correction of your data via in-app Support.

14. APP STORE PRIVACY LABEL SUMMARY
Data Linked to You: identifiers, subscription status, optional About Me text, optional personal facts, optional story bank entries, optional resume text, optional job description text, and saved transcripts.
Data Not Linked to You: aggregated usage metrics, crash logs, and performance diagnostics when available. Optional support diagnostics may be linked to your support request if you choose to include them.
Data Not Collected: location, contacts, photos, camera data, health data, payment card data, and advertising tracking data.
Used for Tracking: No.
